back-buttonBACK

Hello. They call me Boo. I joined to recover my health back. My precious mama passed away 10 months ago. The last year of her life my caregiving duties kicked into high gear. And my health deteriorated, mostly the last 10 months. I quit everything and found myself way off course. Every joint in my body hurts. I also injured my knee, to my surprise they diagnosed osteoarthritis as well as ligament & meniscus tears. I've isolated to the point I realize I need to get back in gear. Mama would not like that I gave up. That is some of my story. Sorry for the long post. Hoping to get some strength and activity back in my life as I continue to grieve.

Charlett A My condolences on losing your Mom. Being a caregiver is a difficult task. I'm currently the caregiver for my husband. It was one of my motivations for joining this community. I'm happy we get to share getting back on track together. Sending you lots of love and encouragement. πŸ’š

Elizabeth M Becky, Kudos to you for giving the care to your mom and now giving care to yourself. πŸ’• Like Charlett, I'm a caregiver too. My auntie is almost 99 and I've been her point guard for almost 6 years. Glad we are all doing this self care πŸ’• It's sooo good! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ
