We all have that favorite recipe that we know isn’t the healthiest. Instead of giving it up, let’s give it a redo! Each month, Chef Mary and Coach Lindsay will take an “unhealthier” recipe and turn it green. While Chef Mary cooks live for our audience, Coach Lindsay will fill everyone in with eye-opening insights about nutrition.
-2 whole acorn squash
-1 tablespoon olive oil
-1 lb ground turkey or ground beef
-1 1/2 cups baby bella mushrooms chopped
-1 cup honey crisp apples peeled + chopped in small pieces
-1/2 cup chicken stock
-2 teaspoon fresh rosemary chopped finely
-1 teaspoon pepper
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-1 teaspoon garlic powder
-1 teaspoon onion powder
-1 cup shredded cheese
